UNCERTAIN ;; ignore the ooc tag, because i /AM/ certain that lambdadelta is / n o t / takano. it’s been made very
obvious that lambdadelta granted takano’s wish from this panel. she granted takanos wish but takano failed to have it completed because she faltered for a moment and was abandoned by lambda for even wincing from anything less than absolute certainty.why does she look like takano/satoko then?
well, i think it’s to remind bern of her past. they play a dangerous game of love and hate, this could be her way of saying ‘i love you’ by having the mannerism of rika’s best friend and saying ‘i hate you’ by wearing the face of her greatest enemy. (they wouldn’t be witches unless they did something horrible to each other now and then)
on this note; i’ll also say that i don’t /fully/ support the theory that she is satoko, (way too many holes here) but i do agree that satoko was her piece for a few games (and shion for a quick panel but thats not important) but i can see how satoko’s situation would become a logic-error type of hell with all kinds of abuse, like the situation where if she told anyone she wouldn’t get to see her brother again (so shes convinced) but if she doesn’t she’ll likely die from the abuse of her terrible uncle, thus, not seeing her brother still. boom. logic error.
aaaaanyway..it’s been hinted that lambda was born before, looooooooooong before the events in higurashi. i’m positive she had a different body then too! she probably altered her form because, well, why else?
